Memorial Day Fun

I went to the creek and had a blast. I went tubing and riding in the boat. My daughter had a blast riding in the boat also. She didn’t want to get in it at first but when we got going she loved it.

My other daughter had a blast also riding in the tube. This was our last day with her for the summer. She is spending the summer with her big sister. She is taking swimming lessons and she is going to get to go to six flags. She is eleven and I thought she is old enough to go do things.

The minute she left that night it felt so quiet. She is not a loud or rowdy girl but she makes her presence known. I know that she is going to have fun but I am missing her already.

Clinton versus Obama

I can’t believe that I am living during the time of history in the making. The first time that a woman and a black man are running for president. I am wondering if people are going to vote for Hillary just because she is a woman or are they going to vote for Obama just because he is black or are they going to just vote for who they think is best for the job of being president. Either way it goes it is history in the making. I would be interested in other viewpoints. I personally have not decided who I am going to vote for. What if you personally don’t care for who is running? Do you not vote for them because you don’t like them or you just pick which one is the best for the job?

There have been plenty of elections where I didn’t know who the people were running and so I did not know who to vote for. I am talking about local elections here. Does anyone else have that problem or is it just me?

Britney Spears – Just My Opinion

It is just my opinion but I think that this lady is sick. I mean who does all these things and not be sick. It can’t be for publicity because she did lose her boys. Personally I don’t like ex hubby. I think that she needs treatment and medications most probably. I don’t feel that she needs all this publicity. She needs to be treated with dignity and not expose her and exploit her. Every time I hear something about her I just want to tune it out. I mean if a person was physically ill there would not be all this notoriety but she is emotionally ill and she needs to be treated right. That is just my opinion after all for what it is worth.

Heath Ledger- The Tragedy

I know everyone knows Heath Ledger and I just wanted to say that it is a shame to lose someone so that had a lot going for him. A career that was going really good and a beautiful little girl. They are trying to say that maybe drugs were involved. At this point I don’t know whether it is true or not. I just wanted to say I’m sorry that his little girl had to lose her father that way at such a young age.

Where’s My Millionaire Man

Where oh where can my millionaire man be. Oh where oh where can he be? I have been searching high and I have been searching low. He’s hiding because I haven’t found him yet. I’m fifty and I don’t have much time left so it time to come out of hiding. Seriously although I would love to have a millionaire man he has to meet certain criteria. He has to be at least reasonably good looking cause you know I’m going to want to look at him. He has to have a sense of humor cause I like to laugh. He has to be easy to talk to cause I like to talk. He certainly has to have MONEY, MONEY, MONEY cause I sure would love to spend some of it. But I have this character flaw I have to really care about the man to be with him. I mean who sleeps money. It is the man himself that is the most important thing. I’m taking applications so if you are interested please apply within.

Oh you have to be between 50-60. No cradle robbing here.

I wrote about this on my other blog and I received a comment that I though was interesting. Most people who does not understand it thinks that the woman is exaggerating her condition. This man wrote and said that is what he thought at first about his wife. He then realized that it is a very painful and serious condition. To read the post visit http://thiswomansblog.blogspot.com. Why, Why, Why

Don’t you just love it when you tell your kids to do something and they say why?

I just thought about this when I told my daughter something earlier and she goes why.

What happened to yes maam or no maam? I hate to say because I said so. Sometimes I will explain why but other times I say just do it. But I do have to say this. I have been watching the super nanny and the way those kids act. I realize that my children are all pretty goods kids.

I also realize what it was like when I was a child and I always wondered why to. I try to remember what it was like as a child and be the parent also. I must be doing something right because my children tell me everything. Even stuff that they do that I will not like. They know that I may not approve of what they do but that I will love them anyway. Well I guess that’s it for now. My oldest son and his girl friend are here with her kids so I need to go visit. I think they have started a bonfire. See ya later
